Jimmy White and Ken Doherty will compete in the British Seniors Snooker Open at the Vaillant Live in Derby on 27-28 December.
The two legends of our sport will join defending champion Joe Perry as the British Open returns to Derby for a second consecutive year.

White, known as ‘The Whirlwind’, is a record four-time World Seniors Championship winner who will be aiming to go one step further at the Vaillant Live after losing out to Perry in last year’s final.
1997 world champion Doherty announced his retirement from the World Snooker Tour after an incredible 36-year career but will continue to thrill crowds on the WSS Tour and joins the line-up this Christmas.

Mike Dunn, World Seniors Snooker Tour Director, said: “It’s always a pleasure to see two of the finest ambassadors of the game competing. Both have given so much to the game over the years and are still playing at the highest level”
A full and star-studded field will soon be announced as players battle it out on Sunday 27 and Monday 28 December for the title currently held by ‘The Gentleman’.
