Mark Davis will join the line-up for the second staging of the British Seniors Snooker Open at Vaillant Live in Derby on 27-28 December.
The 2016 World Seniors Championship winner and former English Open runner-up ended an unbroken 35-year spell on the World Snooker Tour (WST) at the end of last season but will return to competitive action on the green baize this Christmas.

Davis joins a star-studded line-up that already features defending champion Joe Perry, Jimmy White, Ken Doherty and Reanne Evans with three more names still to be announced ahead of the two-day tournament.
Jason Francis, Chairman of World Seniors Snooker, said: “It is great to welcome the 2016 World Seniors Champion to our Derby line-up! Mark has given 35 years of service to the World Snooker Tour and deserves this invitation.
