World Seniors Snooker (WSS) has announced its schedule for the 2026/27 season, featuring nine ranking events and offering a minimum of four qualification places for the 2027 World Seniors Championship through the official ranking list.

The tour is open to all players aged 40 and over, including current and former professional players. Prize money will once again include £1,000 for each event winner, with payouts extending down to the last 16, provided the event attracts at least 32 entries.

World Seniors Chairman Jason Francis said: “Last season was a record-breaking year for World Seniors Snooker. Joe Perry became our British Open champion, while Ronnie O’Sullivan became our world champion in May. Nine players qualified for the World Championship through our global qualification events, including five from our official tour. We look forward to welcoming back our regular competitors and meeting the many new players who have been asking how they can get involved.”

The new season will begin on Friday 14 August 2026, with all events taking place at the Crucible Sports and Social Club in Reading.
